Porter x ISAORA Canoe Pack
(Limited Edition)

Made in Japan by the legendary bag maker Yoshida & Co., and inspired by the 'Poirer Pack' a bag that was designed in 1882 by French-Canadian Camille Poirier. In fact, the 'Poirer Pack' is often said to be the basis from which most modern day backpacks evolved. Originally designed to be used in the American wilderness, thick canvas and a flat square shape made them popular with those traveling by canoe because it meant things inside stayed dry and an even ballast at the bottom of the canoe improved stability. Fast forward 129 years, add an engineered shape, internal iPad pouch, black felt padding, 2 side pockets, zigzag stitching, Japanese manufacturing and red ISA-Flake logo and you have a wicked bag. It's expensive, but it's beautiful (

and for a great cause).
Dimensions: 17" x 17" x 6"
* After we designed this bag, but before we had them made, the devastating tsunami hit Japan. It was then that we decided to paint our signature ISA-Flake red as a way to express our heavy heart and prayers for the people of Japan. In addition, we are donating $200 for every one of these bags we sell to the Japanese Red Cross.
