Japanese artist collective teamLab (you can call them “ultra-technologists”) develop interactive media-based works using architecture, programming, animation, art, graphic design, and then some. Using every member’s individual skills, teamLab pushes forward into new and innovative worlds.
For their first-ever exhibition in the United States, teamLab has set up shop at NYC’s Pace Gallery for their "Ultra Subjective Space" exhibition, in which they’ve displayed seven digital works on large-scale screens, featuring videos on loop that investigate time, perspective, and the distortion of space.
Each work transforms its environment, enveloping the viewer in a veritable visual explosion of images.
