Architectural Labyrinths

12/05/14

Spanish architect Ricardo Boffil has managed to create 1000 building projects in 50 different countries over the last 50 years, spreading his intricate, geometric aesthetic worldwide. Like interlocking pieces in a puzzle you'd probably never be able to finish, Boffil's work has an M.C. Escher-like quality to it, where stairs move come in from all different points, creating various angles in which one could lose themselves on the way to the bathroom... which, if you were lucky enough to own one of these properties, you'd be happy to do. A simple enough sacrifice in the name of art.
