Shooting up close and in choice segments, photographer @jonasto captures Hong Kong from a micro perspective. The city’s windows, parking lots, rooftops, and spires are all assessed with Jonas’ exacting eye for architecture and line. Done in muted colors and lots of graphic black and white, his photographs display an uncommon view of the city, devoid of the flashing lights and colorful gleam of the city that has previously appealed to so many other photographers. In his style, previously unseen rhythms and patterns emerge. It’s a sci-fi take on Hong Kong--and one we’ll gladly get behind. Take a look.
