This is the world’s lightest three-layer mackintosh coat - get at us if you think we’re wrong. The only feature we didn’t completely overhaul while designing this piece was the silhouette, and even that’s a little pared down to render its wearer a more streamlined profile. We even integrated distinct paneling at major points of articulation (elbows and shoulderblades) so you can move with ease and not do the turn-with-your-entire-body thing when wearing that other coat you no longer need.
Built with the same technical nylon used in our snowboard gear, the Mac Coat’s body panels are fused together via precision welding. Fusion sounds fancy, but it really insinuates two simple things - 1) no more needle perforations and 2) no need to tape over seams that are riddled with said needle perforations. Instead, we exactingly bind the panels together, creating a lipless seal that will keep you dry no matter how brutal the storm gets.
