Designed with all around adaptability in mind. We paired a down-filled body constructed from high-density ultralight Italian nylon with compact knit sleeves made out of specially developed waterproof merino wool. The result is a hybrid jacket where the insulating down fill is centered where you need it most: at your core. With inherent natural stretch and minimal bulk, the knit sleeves allow for unrestricted range of motion. Intended to be worn alone on moderately cold days or layered under a shell when the temperature drops into the single digits.

    About Goose Down

Ounce for ounce, goose down is the finest known lightweight insulator, natural or synthetic. Its unique three-dimensional structure creates thousands of tiny air pockets, which, when trapped by the down fibers, provide the superior insulating ability that it is known for. Quality goose down is also extremely resilient, with the ability to be compressed and then spring back to its original shape. Goose down is highly breathable compared to other materials. It allows water vapor to pass through, wicking it away through the filaments while retaining the warmth in the air pockets. We use a premium 90/10 blend of goose down for our jackets. The higher down-to-feather ratio provides greater insulating properties and lighter weight.
